Interesting little look at technology and the future...some of the facts are fudged a bit, but it's still eye opening...

i understand all of wat hes sayin but there are also pros to those cons. The world is always at a transitional stage through physical adaptation. If that makes sense. lemme put it this way... the world is at 100 and we're at 75. but thats jus enough to keep worldwide depressions from combusting. Technology right now is at the point were there can be flying cars and robots (basically if u ever saw iRobot.. thsts were we stand now) but theres not enough money in the world to fund these things enough for the world to be up to date on wats goin on in our research labs. Thats the main issue and thts y everything revolves around money. America is so far up its own ass in debt tht they dont spend more time on wat really matters... Education and research.

Those are some heavy thoughts Mop. I love America but I think the truth about what we are doing now and what we have done in the past gets clouded by nationalism and patriotism. I would suggest to everyone that they read A People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn. Now there's a book that will open your eyes.

no doubt tit....
i showed this video to about 60 teachers and a 100 high schoolers.....my goal was to show the students what the world will be like when they finally enter the job market and to get teachers thinking about their out-dated teaching methods and to ask them if today's children really are recieving the education they need. Thanks to Good Old NCLB (that's pure sarcasm there boys) the US is in effect cheating our children out of the competitive job market, in favor of yearly testing that lacks validity, realibility and only shows that some kids are better testers than others.
As smoke would say, "That's my two cents."

I've read most of this book Tit, it was the required text book for my freshman History class. It really sheds a poor and savage light on our forefathers. Good good shit. And yes, the social science department at my school is chock-full of very very left wing radical types. Intriguing video btw Rob. Preach.
